Several years ago I purchased an old junk house.  I began restoring that house and quickly realized that if I was ever going to get it in any condition so that I could rent or sell it I had to rewire it completely.  Not something that I was looking forward to but clearly, it was necessary and there was no other choice.  After having rewired it and restoring all the other areas requiring work, I rented that house for about two years and then sold it for a profit of about $200,000.  Man was I happy.  I immediately began looking for another house to buy.

I continued buying houses for the next few years but during that time I ran into a snazz.  I was diagnoised with a life threating illness.  And all of a sudden my priorities changed.  I wanted to live & I wanted to live for a long & healthy life well pass 100.
Are you aware that there are certain cultures that routinely live pass 80, 90, and even 100 years old!

Dear Friend,
The first question you may want to ask is ... "Why would anyone want to live pass 100 years old?  Well, your question might have some merit under normal circumstances but remember I said, "A healthy and Productive Life" beyond 100 years ... not the norm, but based on my research ... it could be.
Several years ago I personally experienced or should I say "enjoyed" an illness.  I say this because that situation brought many things into prospective for me.   Not only did the illness surprise me but it angered me as well.  My sudden illness, (through it was probably not sudden at all), was a shock to me because I through I had been living a healthy lifestyle.  I had a routine exercise schedule, I eat healthy foods for the most part and I looked and felt ... "like a million bucks!"  So what went wrong!

Well, for one thing, prior to that situation I relied on my doctor to keep me advised about my health.  You know, when I should do this test,  when I should do that test and when should I do my next annual whatever!  Don't get me wrong!  Doctors have a great place in life ... but YOU and you alone are responsible for your health.

If you were a chicken would you take advice from a fox!  Not to worry, you will understand this as you read further.

Weather you believe it or not, doctors are for the most part ... in the sickness business ... not the wellness business.  They respond well when you walk into their office and tell them that you are sick, but if you are well and you ask them what should you be doing to increase your chances of staying well, ... you will have thrown most doctors for a loop.

If they provide any answers to your question at all it will probable be, "keep doing what ever you are doing now".  When in fact a much better answer may be ... "although you are doing well, you may consider adding a little more vitamin D to your diet".  Or perhaps, you might consider cleaning up the air in your home and office or make sure that you are drinking enough good healthy alkaline water.   Or whatever, ... but not the lazy ... "keep doing what ever you are doing now", there is always room for improvements.  The next time you talk with your doctor tell him/her that you want to live a healthy life pass 100.  Tell him/her that you want all of the health related answers that he/she provides you design to support your goals.

But as I said, doctors are not in the wellness business, they are in the sickness business.  And based on the average life span expectancy of  doctors, (about ten years less than the rest of us), it would seem that you would be better off listening to your neighbor rather than your doctor when it pertains to your health. In all fairness I should also say that more and more doctors are becoming wellness solutions providers and if you decided to switch to a wellness health care provider you can find one, as they are becoming more and more available ... they want to live also!

The average black man in America lives to be about 68 to 69 years, the average white man in America lives to be about 77 to 78 years old.  The average doctor in America lives to be about 58 years old.  From whom are you listening!  What ever happened to that age old adage, "An Once Of Prevention!   Don't blame your doctor ... he/she has to make a living too.

It would almost seem that one may be better off by listening to his/her brother-in-law than his/her doctor.  Of course I am not telling you that you should not listen to your doctor; however, I am telling you that you need to be very much involve in your health and baring any immediate emergency situations, you had better take charge of your personal health and the health of those in your charge, ie., your children, beginning today.  Don't just rely on your doctor.  Listen to your body and your feelings also. What I am telling you is this:  If you want to live a long, healthy and productive live, you must become very pro-active when it comes to your health.

As of this writing I have two grand daughters.  One just turned "sweet 16" and one is 3.  And I have decided that I want to dance at both of their weddings.  Atop all that I am deeply in love with my very young and beautiful and that alone is ample reason for me to live pass 100.  In order for me to accomplish all this, I will not only have to live another  40 to 50 more years but I am going to have to be healthy and active as well.  And I dam sure don't need any more health related surprises.

Another reason why my health situation angered me was because I have always seen myself as one of those guys who would live a lone and healthy life.  I have often told my wife that if after I am pass 103 or more and I walk to the door with a glazed over look in my eyes, don't follow me ... because I would probably not be coming back.   But not until I was at least 100 years old would she need to be concerned about ever seeing that glazed over look.

At any rate, after I exprianced those personal health issues, I decided that I should take as much control of my own health as was reasonable possible.   The first thing I decided to do was to conduct some research on longevity to try and learn if there really was anything that I could personally do to increase my chances of living a healthy life beyond 100 years.

Considering the fact that I am going to have to live much longer than the average American I decided that I would need to do something very different from what the average American does.  I have already decided that just listening to and relying my doctor was not a viable solution.  I also decided that ... business as usual was not going to get the job done.  Soooo, what was I to do .......

Baring anything else that even came close to my needs, I decided to do the apparently only reasonable thing available to me .... undertake a study of those who are already expert at living longer than the rest of the world.    I decided to conduct a study of those cultures that routinely live pass 80, 90 and 100 years old ... and for many even longer.

During the early stages of my research I came across an article that ran in the January 1973 edition of National Geographic.  The title of the article was, "Search For The Oldest People".  This article identified several cultures where its people routinely lived to be 90, 100 and even longer.

The cultures identified were were the Abkhasians of Georgia, the Hunzas of Pakistan, the Vilcabambans of Ecuadoar, the Bamas of China, the Azerbaijans, the Tibetans, the Armenians, the Titicacas of Peru and of course the longest living humans of them all, the Okinawans of Japan.  Again they are:

1.  The Abkhasians from Georgia, (high in the mountains)
2.  The Hunzas of Pakistan, (high in the mountains)
3.  The Vilcabambans of Ecuador, (high in the mountains)
4.  The bamas of China, (high in the mountains)
5.  The Azerbaijans, (high in the mountains)
6.  The Tibetans, (high in the mountains)
7.  The Armenians, (high in the mountains)
8.  The Titicacas, (high in the mountains)
9.  And the longest living people on earth, ... the Okinawans of Japan, who live at sea level.

So what does these people have in common other than the fact that they, as a rule live longer than the rest of the world?  The answer is not as complicated as one would think.  First, except for the Okinawans, they all live high in the mountains areas.  The astute reader must then conclude that it must have at least something to do with the fact they live in high elevations ... (clean air, lots of time spent outside working, (sunshine), nutritional foods, and pure and uncontaminated water with a much higher concentration of minerals contain within).

But ... can there also be more!  Lets revisit their lifestyles.  We know that all of these culture are an outdoor culture who routinely get several hours of sunshine daily.  Ironically, just recently, doctors have been testing more and more Americans for Vitamin D deficiencies.  For the first time in my life my doctor just recently tested me for a Vitamin D deficiency.  Isn't that ironic!

At any rate, after having learn about these long living cultures, one must ask, "What are they doing that I am not"?  Or perhaps, other than moving to where they live, "what can I do to increase my chances of living a long and healthy life, perhaps pass 100?

The first thing I decided to do was to try and find out what did these cultures have in common!  Well, except for the Okinawans, the answer is obvious. At least one of the elements in question stands out like a sore thumb, and as stated earlier, they all lived high in the mountains.  As an astute reader you therefore must conclude that living at higher elevations must at least be one of the factors of longevity.  They live closer to the sun.  The air that they breathe is much cleaner and the water that they drink in full of minerals and ... it is not treated with man made and man added chemicals.

Recent research has proven UVB exposure at higher altitudes stimulates a grater production of vitamin D as well as an increase in the rate of sunburn.  One study suggested that an average completion burns in six minutes at 11,000 feet compared to 25 minutes at sea level in a temperate climate.  What this appears to mean is that at high solar elevations the ratio favors Vitamin D formation.  In other words, at lower solar altitudes, it may be nearly impossible to form Vitamin D without getting sun burn.  Hence, the shortage of vitamin D.

Research has proven that UVB exposure at higher altitudes stimulates not only a grater production of vitamin D, (today's scientist are finally beginning to understand the importance of of Vitamin D), but also increases the rate of sunburn compared to sea level exposure.

NOTE:  The largest number of skin cancers in America occurs in areas north of the sun belt!  Interesting!

Another interesting note!   For as many years of visiting my doctor as I can remember, he for the first time on my last visit told me that he wanted to check my Vitamin D level.

Well I think you can now began to question and appreciate the vital need for ample vitamin D.   This would also imply that the amount that is recommended by the FDA may be grossly short of it's mark.  Clearly, one must also began to question the quality of the air you breathe and the water you drink.
Of major importance is the fact that the largest amount of  "Free Radicals" that enters our bodies by way of the, "Food That We Eat", "The Water That We Drank", and "The Air That We Breathe".  It is apparently clear that perhaps and likely without realizing it these long living cultures was bless with a long life span simply because of where they lived and the health riches that nature provided.

But what about the Okinawans, they live at sea level, so why are they able to live so long, (they are among the longest living people in the known world)?   How can that be explained?  Of course we have to assume that the same factors that supported long life for those cultures living high in the mountains, are also factors for the Okinawans.  But perhaps there are also other factors as well.

We decided to continue our research and return to the high mountain cultures.  We again looked at the water.  What we found is that in higher elevations more than any place else the water contains very high amounts of calcium and large amounts of minerals.  Interesting, considering the fact that Calcium has the chemical flexibility needed to be the bodies most biologically active mineral nutrient.  But this seemed to simple, it had to be more than high, very high daily doses of Vitamin D and Calcium.  So we decided to keep digging.  We had to be sure.  These people, these high mountain people, lived much longer than the rest of the world, except for the Okinawans, (we will talk even more about the Okinawans later).

Finally, we began to develop some conclusions.  Our research was clear. There were several things that were clean common in all of these long living cultures, including the Okinawans.   They all consumed very large amounts of Calcium, and of course it goes without saying, the Fresh AIR that they breathe daily and the Fresh Clean "Mountain WATER" that they drank daily, and of course the fact that in order for them to survive that they had to work the fields and the animals ... a daily dose of Vitamin D and daily exercise, working the fields and the animals.

The EPA has made it clear that the Air We Breathe and the Water We Drink are major factors in maintaining our health.  According to the EPA, Air Pollution is America's number health problem.  Learn more about the Air We Breathe at and Water We Drink at

Continued research revealed an unexpected amount of support for these conclusions.   However sad, it appears that the reason this information, especially regarding Vitamin D, Calcium and nutritional supplements in general is not more available may be because large drug companies have not been able to patent them in a drug form that they can place a large price tag on and sell them to you ... and me!

And history is clear, ... if it does not or cannot make large amounts of money for the powers that be, (drug companies), it will not likely be indossed.  In fact it will likely be condemed.

Calcium from our food and water intake as well as sunshine, is virtually free to all.  And even as an Isotonix nutritional supplement, (iso means 'the same' and tonic means 'pressure or tone' form, it is relatively inexpensive.

As we dug deeper, what became abundantly clear was the fact that the soil that these mountain cultures used for growing crops has far more nutriants than in other areas, however, now it appeared that the game winners in all cases was the fact that these people consumed large doses of Calcium and large amounts of Vitamin D, (they spent almost all of each day outdoors), and ample minerial rick Fresh Water  and of course there was an abondance of Fresh Air.

NOTE:  Recently during a breakfast meeting with a good friend of mine we some how got on the subject of Calcium and it's importance to overall good health.  he asked me just how important did I think Calcium was to our health.  Then he interjected a story which went something like this:  We had an African Parrot as a family pet that recently died.  He said that the parrot was loved by all family members and after it passed, there was some finger pointing that became very harsh.  The inference was that his older daughter did not take care of and feed the parrot as was required.  Something the she denied.  In an effort to get to the bottom of this, and regain some peace and tranquility within the family, he decided to have an autopsy performed on the bird.  The autopsy was quite revealing.  The autopsy revealed that the parrot had been feed and watered as needed but that it had not receive amble Calcium in it's diet and like humans, it began to draw the needed calcium from other sources within it's body.  This contentious draw on it's bodies calcium reserves finally became overwhelming and it died.

My response was simple.  You have just answered your own question as to the importance of calcium.  This is exactly what happens to us humans when we do not get ample nutrients in our diets.

OK, now that we have raised some questions regarding the health powers of Calcium and Vitamin D in these high mountain cultures, lets see if we can learn why the Okinawans of Japan live even longer than the high Mountain cultures, (as well as any other cultures that we know of).

Early during our research we learned that the Okinawans consumed large amounts of Calcium as well, however, their calcium came from the coral reefs.    Coral calcium as it is called is felt by many scientist to be the most potent calcium in the world.

Another factor as identified by Bradley J. Willcox, MD, principal investigator of geriatrics, Pacific Health Institute, Honolulu Hi, and assistant professor of geriatric, University of Hawaii, who is also coinvestigator of the Okinawa Centenarian Study and coauthor, with his twin brother, D. Craig Willcoz, PhD, of the Okinawa Program:  How The World's Longest-Lived People Achieve Everlasting health - and How You can Too.  Clarkson-Potter.

During 25 years of study, researchers have said that Okinawans have healthier arteries ... lower risk for hormone dependent malignancies.   Malignancies such as breast and prostate cancer ... stronger bones ... sharper minds ... lean, fit bodies ... and excellent emotional health.

The Okinawan diet consist of mainly of high-carbohydrate, low-calorie, plant-based foods, which by the way is the same diet deemed optimal for long-term health by more than 2000 scientific studies.  And of course US government scientist have been urging Americans to consume at least five daily servings of fruits and vegetables for many years now.

Here is how scientist have scientist have adopted the Okinawan diet for Americans:
<> Eat until you are 80% full.  Okinawans say, hara bachi bu:  "Eat until you are eights part full" (out of 10).

<> Eat nine to 17 servings of vegetables and fruits daily - A diet rich in fruits and vegetables decreases your risk for heart disease, cancer, stroke, high blood pressure and obesity.  Who in the hell has time to eat 17 servings per day!

<> Eat seven to 13 servings of whole-grain foods daily - whole grains are rich in nutrients, antioxidants and fiber, which decrease your risk for many illnesses, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes and cancer.  Who in the hell has time to eat 13 servings per day!

<> Eat two to four servings of Calcium daily.  Calcium fights osteoporosis and is believed to help prevent colon cancer, high blood pressure and premenstrual syndrome.

<> Eat two to four servings of flavonoid-rich foods daily. According to research, blood levels of flavonoids - beneficial compounds founds in all plants-are up to 50 times higher in Okinawans than in white Americans.

<> Eat one to three servings of Omega-3 foods daily. These dietary constituents protect your brain, arteries and immune system.

<> Drink plenty of "Good Clean Water".  How much is enough ... drink enough so that your urine is clear.  And the EPA has long been saying that Indoor Air is our #1 health problem.

NOTE:  According to health experts, alkaline drinking water is considered to be the healthiest water for the body and by far the most superior drinking water available. Alkaline water is one of the most significant preventative health advances of our generation. It is a powerful antioxidant, which also provides our body with an abundance of oxygen which in turn gives us energy. It is electronically enhanced water that has passed over positive and negative electrodes and become ionized, which then is separated into alkaline and acidic water. The alkaline drinking water can balance the body's pH, and thus prevent diseases in the human body.  Alkaline water can also make food taste better, assist vitamin and antioxidant absorption, and generally help the body digest food more efficiently.

Let's remember the reason we need to increase our alkaline water intake:  to remove impurities, toxins and acids from our health system and to provide pure water for our bodies to use.  Cancer and most other diseases cannot survive in alkaline water but strives in acids.  We have "Smoking is Hazardous to Your Health Warnings" ... Perhaps Within the next couple of generations, we may be lucky enough to have "Soft Drinks are Hazardous to Your Health Warnings"!  Wishful thinking.

So what is the bottom-line!  Apparently the bottom-line is this:   You should consume large amounts of Calcium, Vitamin D, (Vitamin D is essential in helping Calcium disolved in your body),  and ample amounts of Omega-3's as well as good clear water and you should inhale pollution free air and you should exercise for at least 30 to 45 minutes every day or at a minimum every other day.  All combined, these are all the essentials of a long and long and healthy life.

So what is large amounts of Calcium and Vitamin D?  The only way for me to explain this to just say that one quart of Hunzas water in Pakistan contains about 17,000 milligrams of Calcium.  This is by the way, about 42 times the RDA and they drink several quarts per day.   And the Hunzas, along with the other eight or nine cultures mentioned earlier, is basically disease free.  There is no cancer, heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's, arthritis, and probably no aids, (although probably not yet studied).

What also becomes clear is this:  All of these cultures consumes far more Calcium and vitamin D than is recommended by the FDA.  Do you think that the FDA knows this, you bet they do.  Perhaps there is some method to their madness.

OK what about exercise?  As I said earlier, all of these culture are sun lovers.  Given the fact that that do not have an Isotonix Vitamin D as we do, one would have to assume that they spend a lot of time outside.  One would also have to assume that they were working the fields or the animals, in both cases plenty of exercise was the order of the day.  Ample exercise is probably a given.

OK, a final question that you may want to ask is why would I go through all this research ... the answer is simple.  I have a very young family and I want to dance at both of my grand daughters weddings and the youngest just turned three as of this writing.

Now lets conduct a review:
There are about eight or nine cultures that live much longer than the rest of the world.  Except for the Okinawans they all live in high mountain areas.  They all, including the Okinawans, consumes very high amounts of Calcium and Vitamin D.  The air that they breath is generally considered to be the cleanest air in the world and the water that they drink is packed with minerals and is uncontaminated by additives.  Their soil contains more minerals than any other soils.

There is one other thing that I failed to mention that may be of importance.  These cultures have few to no doctors at all.  There are no prescription drugs to be found.  This is not intended to be a hit on doctors. But I should probably add that death from the use of prescription drugs in America is number four (4), on the list of causes of death in America.

So, are you wondering if you are going to have to move to Pakistan, Abkhasia or Georgia or perhaps Okinawa Japan in order to live a long and healthy life - We think not and that's certainly not in our plans.

However, we believe that, (the following is in our opinion and based on our research), in order to increase your chances of living a more healthy and much longer life than the average American you will need to begin doing the following (not in any particular order):

1.   Exercise Is Important - A specific routine is not requied; however, you need to develop some kind of exercise routine and ... stick with it.  This is just a fact of life or perhaps I should say, a fact of living.  If you can't afford to give yourself about 15 or 20 minutes of walking everyday, then so be it.  But you must except the fact that your body will respond accordingly.

2.  The Air You Breathe - Air Pollution, according to the EPA is our #1 health problem.  Those mountain cultures that we talked about earlier enjoyed the freshest air on the planet.  To learn more, visit or

NOTE:  Indoor Air Quality - According to the EPA, indoor air is the #1 health problem in America.  Increasingly, energy efficient homes have created interiors that are full of odors and fumes from indoor pollutants.   And often times indoor air is up to six times worse than the air outside.  Indoors, where we spend 90% of our time.   Homes and commercial buildings are are sealed so tight that despite circulation by heating and cooling systems, odors and and particles swirl around with no place to go except --- your lungs.  Respiratory problems, including asthma and allergies are on the rise and according to research can be attributed, in part, to mold and mildew spores, outgassing from synthetic fibers used in building materials and carpets, pet hair dander. outdoor pollutants that become trapped indoors and inadequately vented cooking and food odors.  We are absolutely certain, based on the 5 plus million sold that we have the most advanced solution to these problems on the planet.

In a fairly recent issue of the Wall Street Journal, Marilyn Chase reported:  "Some of the most polluted air you can breathe isn't downtown, but inside your home."  WHOA!

Numerous reports, including one alarming study from the Environmental Protection Agency, document that airborne pollutants are often five times higher indoors than outside and sometimes as much as 100 times higher.  The EPA also noted that Americans spend 90% of their time indoors, and even more in cold weather.  This is especially true for most seniors.

While hazards in various amounts are present from house to house, these pollutants fuel respiratory illnesses like asthma and place us at increased risk of cancer and other chronic diseases.

Wall to wall carpet, poorly ventilated fireplaces, kerosene space heaters, mold & bacterial toxins, duct mites, formaldehyde (in paints and plywood), adhesives, chemicals cleaners & solvents, aerosol sprays and fabric dyes... an almost endless collection of highly allergenic products have invaded our homes & we have sealed them in with deadly precision.

Recently, two major cities in the Orange County California were considering banning smoking in all apartment building because of the dangers of second hand smoke. We are not aware of their final decision or if they have made any final decisions but the message is clear ... air pollution is a problem and indoor air is has increasingly become a major cause of sicknesses in North America.  The bottom-line is this:  Air Pollution is a major PROBLEM!

Los Angeles County California, (as we speak) are having a difficult time finding locations in which to build new schools because all the available land is in the EPA's RED ZONE, (within 500 feet of major roads and expressways), where the dangerous emissions from the daily traffic is known to cause life threatening illnesses to our school children and you & me.

This silent, invisible attack on schools, homes and our families has been labeled a crisis by experts and health care specialists around the world.  Make no mistake about it.   Indoor Air Pollution is a Major Problem.  Now you know where to find the SOLUTION!
Can you imaging the damage that the resent California fires has caused to peoples lungs?  Can you now imaging how me and my my son were feeling, knowing that we had the only air purification system on the market that could have provided these people the maximum protection available.

The energy crisis of the seventies, a fear of excessive dependence on foreign oil and the ability of architects and building engineers to maximize energy efficiency by sealing outside air out and inside air in has had an enormous effect on our health.  In reality, sick building syndrome is a disease of modern architecture.  Now there is a SOLUTION!

MANY people say, "hey!  wait a minute"!  I changed the filter on my furnace regularly and always sit in the non-smoking section."   If that would do the job, indoor air pollution wouldn't be a problem in America today.  From the door of the House of Representatives, indoor air pollution has been called our greatest environmental concern.  The SOLUTION is here!

All sorts of gases and odors from furniture polish, ammonia, aerosol sprays, cleaning agents and a myriad of other chemical products we bring inside our homes.  Pollens, smoke, fumes, from paint, glues, plywood, particle boards, dyes, in fabrics, mold mildew, bacteria.  Pet odors and garbage smells, house dust and dust mites ... did you know that dust mites, human parasite that live on discarded human skin, are perhaps our most annoying allergen?  Over 42,000 dust mites live in just one ounce of dust!  The average 1500 sq. ft. house generates about 40 pounds of dust each year.  About 2 million dust mites live in your pillow and another 2 to 10 million live in your mattress.  A good nights sleep! HA!

Hazards very from house to house and Living Air may not be effective against every pollutant in every environment.  That's why we say, "Take The Living Air Test."  It either works or it doesn't, and your nose will know in just a few days.  You might also ask you neighbor for his/her opinion about the new smell of your house.  There response will probably be ....  where did you get that little machine?  When they do, please call us.  One of our customers told us that we needed to make sure that everybody in the world knew about this little machine!  Here's your chance to help us get the word out ... so please take a moment and ... TELL-A-FRIEND!  We have a special girt for all referrals.

Poor indoor air quality, also known as indoor air pollution, is especially harmful to the health of these sensitive groups:  Infants, the elderly, those with heart or lung diseases, people with asthma, individuals who have develop extreme sensitivity to chemicals.  Unfortunately, these are the people who often spend most time indoors.  And experts note that damage to our lungs and especially children's lungs is cumulative over the years.

NOTE:  There are certain things that we can do very little about, but breathing polluted contaminated air while inside ...  just don't have to be one of them.  Learn More at,

3.  The Water You Drink -  Water, Water Everywhere, but is it Pure - Experts and agencies which regulate our public water distribution systems are concerned about the safety of our drinking water.  These hard working committed people are doing all they can, but they are the first to acknowledge just how enormous and serious the problem really is. Learn More at or at

For centuries, clean, refreshing drinking water was available in an abundant supply.  Our streams, rivers, lakes and underground supplies were filled with safe, great-tasting, life-sustaining water.   But the industrial progress of the last 200 years came at a great cost to our precious water resources.  Health officials are now telling us that our health, indeed our very lives may be at risk because of the contaminates in the tap water we through was safe.  Through the years, the EPA has focused on potential cancer causing chemicals as the main threat to drinking water safety, estimating that 60,000 chemicals have been buried or dumped throughout the U. S. over the past 100  years.  Now, however, water agencies and Federal Health officials have determined that water-borne contaminates like cryptosporidium, bacteria, giardia, and viruses are also an immediate concern.   Most communities in America use chlorine for public water treatment.  While it does have effect against some germs, it can be harmful to us.  This treatment process failed to protect the residents in Milwaukee.  Mort that 100 people died there, and 403,000 became ill in one cyptosporidium outbreak.

We know that pure water is essential to life.  That is why so many families have turned to drinking less tap water and more bottled water.  Lugging gallons of water into the kitchen is a hassle and recent reports raise serious questions about the quality of some bottled water.
It seems like everybody is selling water filters these days.  But is it pure!  On a personal note, I live in a small city in the county of Los Angeles California.  After getting tired of hauling in bottled water that I was. to say the least, not impress with I decided to own a water purification system.  After using that system's water for a few weeks it became clear to me that the city water was not what i wanted for myself and my family.  Yet having to change the system's filter about once each month I decided that I had to do something different.  Fortunately, I also own a house in Anaheim California, about 30 miles away.  The water in Anaheim, specially the area where I own that house, has clean and great tasting water.  My solution was to haul water from Anaheim in 5 gallon containers to where I live.  Solution almost solved.  But one of the other problems was that during my research I learned that Cancer, especially Cancer and certain other illnesses could not survive in an alkaline water.

During my research I discovered how important pH balance is for the body. As it turns out, the body should be more alkaline than acidic.  Good health starts with the correct acid-alkaline balance in your body. The pH level (acid - alkaline measurement) of our internal fluids affects every cell in our bodies.  Extended acid imbalances of any kind can overwhelm your body, and lead to health complications ... including cancer.

Just as the body regulates its temperature in a rigid manner, so will it manage to preserve a very narrow pH range - especially in the blood. As a matter of fact, the body will go to such great lengths to maintain a blood pH of 7.365 that it will even create stress on other tissues, body systems, and organs to do so. Chronic acidity will interrupt all cellular activities and functions - it interferes with life itself.

When the pH of the body gets out of balance (too acidic), we may experience low energy, fatigue, excess weight, poor digestion, aches and pains, and even more serious disorders. The cycle of acidity begins primarily as a result of three things:

1. Ingesting acids. Eating too many acidifying foods like processed sugar, meats, dairy, coffee, alcohol, etc. Create an acid ash in the body. These acids can overload the body’s ability to neutralize them.

2. Creation of acids. Pathogens and microforms create acidifying toxins in the body.  As the body becomes more and more acidic, bad bacteria, yeasts and other microforms proliferate in the body.  Since these organisms are living, they eat as well as create resulting toxins. These toxins are often very acidifying.

3. Improper elimination of acids. Not all acids are the same, some are weak and some are strong. Weak acids like citric acid are much easier to neutralize than strong acids like uric acid. The body uses many systems in order to buffer acids including breath, mineral reserves, and fat. When the body’s buffering systems become compromised, excess acids build up.

The process of reestablishing  acid-alkaline balance begins with proper diet and nutrition. This includes eating alkalizing foods (vegetables, low sugar fruits, etc.), super hydration (drinking plenty of alkaline water that is ionic and structured), and proper supplementation.

Water is the most crucial factor in establishing and maintaining proper acid-alkaline balance. Since your body is 70% water, it is extremely important to constantly replenish your supply of it. The body loses 2.5 liters of water every day just through normal bodily functions. The quality of the water that you drink is just as important as the quantity of water you drink. The water you put in your body must be able to prevent toxins and chemical substances from accumulating and creating destructive influences on cells.  Water must also transport minerals and nutrients required for cell metabolism, and remove any substances that can damage the cell. Ideally, the water you drink should have a ph between 9 and 10, and you should be drinking 3-4 liters of it daily or enough to make your urine clear.

In order to hydrate your body optimally, you need to drink water that is alkaline and ionized. Alkaline water helps to neutralize stored acids and toxins. Once these acids are neutralized, they can then be removed by the body. Alkaline water containing ionic minerals also acts as a conductor of electrochemical activity from cell to cell. Reports from studies suggest that ionized, alkaline water can help the body resist disease and slow aging by:

    * Increasing Intracellular Hydration
    * Replenishing Essential Minerals
    * Stabilizing and Protecting Cells
    * Helping To Maintain Normal Blood Flow and Acid Alkaline Balance
    * Flushing Out and Preventing Wastes from Accumulating in Cells
    * Preventing Free Radicals from Forming and Damaging Other Cells

4.  The Food You Eat - Of course you already know that without food our bodies cannot survive; however, what you may not know is the fact that not all foods are good for us.  And even those foods that are suppose to be of great benefit to us may provide less value to us than they once did because of the over treated and and contaminated soils that they are grown in.

Depleted soils, modern growing techniques, preservatives as well as the cooking and refining process, all result in lower nutrient content in our foods.  Cooking foods reduces its nutritional value by destroying 20 to 50% of vitamins, all of the enzymes, some amino acids, and "leaches" minerals.

Like all this isn't enough, the stress our modern world places on us is enormous.  The EPA estimates that 60,000 chemicals have been buried or dumped throughout the U. S. over the last 100 years, and there are 3000 different carcinogenic chemicals found in our foods.  These chemicals enter our bodies and begin to attack tissue and cells. Our bodies do not make enough antiozidants to combat the damaging effects of today's world.

Everybody knows that our bodies needs a number of different vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and probiotics in order for us to live.  Yet it is a well known fact that the diets of most Americans is grossly lacking in these vital nutrients.  With our soils being strained and depleted, there are not as many minerals and nutrients in our foods as there once were.   Even if you are eating all the right "healthy" foods you're still not getting enough of the right nutrients.

The most commonly asked nutrition question is, "Do I really need to use a supplement?"  The answer is conclusively, "Yes."  Nutritional supplements can improve your health in ways that you as yet may not be able to imagine.   We should be supplementing on a daily basis with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and probiotics.

It is a well known fact that in order for us to insure that we are getting the necessary nutritional support that our bodies need, supplementation is required.

There are five primary reasons why food supplements are important to you and your family.
        1.  To correct nutrient deficiencies and/or make up for poor dietary choices.
        2.  To replenish what is missing in your foods (Vitamins, minerals, enzymes, flora, antioxidants ...
        3.  To provide your body with the nutrition necessary to combat today's environmental stresses.
        4.  To meet the higher nutritional needs of today's lifestyle.
        5.  To decrease your risk of chronic disease and reduce health care cost.

Over 90% of Americans are deficient in some vitamin or mineral, yet more than 33% are obese.  We are over feed and undernourished.  Only about 9% of our population consumes the recommended five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.  A 1997 World Health report revealed that our "modern" diet leaves us lacking in vital nutrients, making us more susceptible to all types of diseases.  And again if we considered the diets of the longest living cultures in the world, even if we consumed the recommended FDA amounts, it is quite likely that that would still not be enough.

Notwithstanding, supplements can help increase overall fitness and well-being, support the immune system, reduce risk of disease, improve your quality of life and protect against premature aging.  Clearly, supplements is esssential.

But with all the different supplements, who knows what they should be taking!   Yet, taking supplements is one thing.  Being sure they are actually delivered to and used by each cell is quite another.  Many companies claim to offer the best product, but only a few actually guarantee delivery  of the nutrients to the cells.  Instead of merely adding ingredients to make an impressive label, it is even more important that these nutrients are being absorbed into the blood stream, they must be recognize, absorb, by your body and use to promote optimum health.

Research has proven that vitamins from all natural whole food sources are easier for your body to absorb, safer and more effective than laboratory-created synthetic or crystalline vitamins.  Synthetic vitamins are "essentially dead," inert, chaper, and potentially dangerous.  They are not vitamins at all.

With all the supplements available today, how do I know which one's are right for me?  Only the purest 100% all natural, organically grown raw materials should be consumed.  You should check to make sure that you are obtaining your products from the most reliable source available.  All ingredients must be  visibly inspected.   Producers must choose reliable sources for raw ingredients, and still test for safety, accuracy, and quality.  Do not except perservatives, no artificial coloring, flavoring agents, salt or sugar.  All natural whole foods are alive and are full of the life-giving energy for which you take supplements.  Some companies cut corners in order to save money but that violate the laws of nature.

Every cell in your body eats, how you feed (or fail to feed), each of the billions of cells in your body has everything to do with your overall health.  The body's natural processes call for nutrients to be delivered to each cell.  Perhaps the crowning achievement of the Isotonix revolution is the ability to deliver nutrients into the blood stream so quickly and effectively.   With Isotonix products you really get what you pay for.  Well, isn't that refreshing!  Learn more at:
